Mr Potato Head and Family on Vacation......at Disney World?

When Dan and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon we bought a Disney Mr. Potato Head. It has since been packed away in a box. We found it and gave it to Logan to play with, since he enjoys his other potato head so much. This afternoon we had some fun with them going to Disney World. Here are some pictures of the Potato Head Family on vacation.

Ooops, I guess the fun's over, looks like Junior's getting sick...

Later at Mickey's house, Junior got to meet Mickey and get his autograph.

What a fun time they had.

Aquarium

We went to the aquarium this week. Now that school is back in session it's a nice time to go since it's so quiet and there aren't any crowds. As you can see from the big window below. We also wondered around the botanical gardens.

More stamping fun

Logan made 5 cards the other day. I had an order of 36 cards plus 20 that I was donating to a silent auction so I had a lot of stamping to do to get done by Thursday. So Logan got to stamp too. He chose to use his helicopter stamp for these cards. He stamps and glues his card all by himself the only thing that I do is cut the paper for him and put the glue on the paper. He had a good time and I did get all my orders done. It took a few naptimes too though. We'll be starting on Christmas cards next month-maybe he'll get to help with those too.....

Here's the finished card.

2 Years Old

Logan is 2 years old today. He didn't want to take a picture so this is the best I could get. We should have tried to get a picture earlier in the day before he was so tired. Tomorrow he has a check up and then we're going to the zoo for its annual picnic for people who have zoo memberships. Saturday we'll be going to an Isotopes game for Dan's company picnic. So it will be a busy weekend. I will try to post pictures as the weekend goes by.

Birthday Party

Logan had a great time at his birthday party, and the sesame street cupcakes were a hit with kids and adults. He got a couple of gifts, a Mr. Pototo head, and a Police truck that makes noise. Here's a few pictures.

Logan's early birthday party

Tomorrow (8/14) Logan will get to have a small birthday party with his friends from church. Every Thursday morning we go to church and the mom's have a group that meets there and the kiddos get to play. So we're having a small party tomorrow there. Here are a few things for his party. Since Logan is very much into Elmo and the gang we're doing a sesame street themed party. I made everything, including the cupcakes. If you would like details on how to make the sesame street gang see my stamping blog on 8/14, it will be listed there.
Cupcakes with Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch toppers.

Banner that I'll hang on the nursery door at church.

Birthday card for Logan from his Mom and Dad. No Cookie Monster on this one. I didn't think to do Cookie Monster until after this card was already made. Maybe I'll make a new one with Cookie Monster.

I'll post pictures of his party tomorrow or friday, stay tuned.......

Painting

I had this project in mind that I wanted to make. We made them, or something similar to them at our over night swap a few months ago. To make the project we had to paint the wood. Logan wanted to help me so here are a few pictures. We took off his shirt so he wouldn't get paint on it-good idea, as you'll see from the following pictures. But he had a good time.

Logan helping Mommy paint-Doing a very good job too!
Good thing we took our clothes off!

Off to show Daddy our work of art!

Yep, bathtime!
